Superheroes

As we venture out into the impenetrable night

The night that covers us like a dark, black wave,

To enjoy ourselves as the evening commences,

We look to be entertained by the nightlife around us.

The places we choose make us who we are

The drinks we choose make us who we are

Both can change our lives in one way or another

To create so-called "superheroes,"

Ones we call ourselves.
